Hello, thanks and welcome for dropping in on my photographic portfolio. I was born in Huntingdon on the borders of Cambridgeshire and Oxfordshire in England. Most of my childhood was spent living in Cornwall in the South West, hence my love of nature and particularly the partly very dramatic landscape. After graduating as a Technical Artist in 1986 I landed in Frankfurt, Germany, now, 23 years and a few grey hairs later I am still in Germany but further down south in Munich, Bavaria. I suppose the point where I would say that I took photography more seriously was as I bought my first Digital SLR, the Nikon D100, up to this point I had always seen photography as a hobby only worthwhile during a holiday. My main area of interest is definitely landscape photography, although, as you may see from my growing gallery selection that almost every aspect from architecture to macro or birds to window shopping Primarily though, my goal is to improve my photographic quality to the extent that I hardly need my retouching skills.
